Its true so please, for the love of eagles, stop scouring internet blog pages in search of information on the upcoming three night night DVB whirl wind tour of the the greatest city on the West Coast (thats Seattle if you didnt know). We will be here representing in force a vast array of new compositions that are sure to make your blood boil and toes tingle! Please take a look at the schedule and decide which event works best for you, then call ten friends and….well you get it. All three shows are in some of our favorite old school woodshed style stompin grounds. No Cover to two of them!!!!??? I mean are you kidding me? See you all soon.

Announcing a side project of Das Vibenbass that includes Josh Clifford (tenor sax), JC Bockman (drums) and Jon Solo (piano) called Porkchop Express.  They will be gigging in and around NYC beginning this June.  Check em out, they will knock the sock off!

Upcoming Performances

Friday April 23 at 830pm Das Vibenbass will perform at La Piazzetta (442 Graham Avenue, Graham stop on the L) in Brooklyn at this first of its kind event for the restaurant.  Its a rare chance for all you New Yorkers to see DVB stretch out and play three sets of music  while  enjoying fine Italian cuisine and even finer local libations.  We are eagerly anticipating this night and the reservations have been filling quick so we urge you to take that final step of commitment and call 718-349-1627 to get your table.  Have no fear though spots will be still be made available for walk up guests as well.  Remember this show will go for most of the evening so show up when you can.

Rad show coming up in the legendary LES haunt Arlenes Grocery on Saturday April 10.  This particular show promises to be monumental in marking the evolution of Das.  Tonight will be the premiere of what could possibly be the best song you have never heard.  The title is Fall of the Subian Empire and is a daring leap into experimental songwriting uniting classical music with jazz improvisation.  I hope all that can attend will, as NYC shows are becoming fewer and farther between.  We play the early set (7pm) so you can still make it out to the club after. 

While Geoff vacations in Seattle…the Das crew joins forces with local baritone sax stud Jarrod Weaver for a night of experimental chaos! Be sure to bring your helmet, drinking shoes, and a change of underpants!!

We are pleased to announce that Grind, a piece of music composed by Das Vibenbass, will be accompanying Sonia Dawkins Prism Dance Theatre on Dec 11 at On The Boards in Seattle, Wa. The show is a competition hosted by the the Joyce Theatre here in NY. The audience will determine who moves on each night with the winner claiming a healthy grant to compose and perform a larger body of work. I urge any and all in the Seattle metropolitan area to attend the performance. Show specific info can be found below.

Larson and is brilliant as it involves fans, friends and family alike. NYC CD Release
